(Hong Kong, 16 October 2024) – SenseTime (0020.HK) and Automated Systems (H.K.) Limited (“ASL”), a subsidiary of Automated Systems Holdings Limited (0771.HK), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) on 15 October 2024 to jointly capture the emerging demand for artificial intelligence (AI) solutions from the public sector in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to the MOU, SenseTime and ASL will combine efforts to identify, develop, and implement go-to-market strategies to enhance the AI services offered to Asia-Pacific customers. The companies will collaborate and harness the capabilities of SenseTime’s AI software and SenseTime’s AI professional services team together with ASL unified technology services in order to provide customers with high-quality AI services and operational experiences. In addition, they will work together to integrate SenseTime’s product development, enhancing the capabilities and services offered to customers during the feasibility study and/or project implementation phase.

SenseTime and ASL have collaborated closely over the past years, focusing on providing AI solutions to the public sector, including government departments, and healthcare organizations in Hong Kong. The partnership has established a strong track record in this field. Going forward, the two companies will explore opportunities beyond Hong Kong, targeting the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration would expect to further enhance ASL’s innovative solutions and service delivery capabilities and expand the application of SenseNova Large Model Series in the public sector, to meet the needs of more users and empower industries in their digital transformations.
