Leading IT Services Provider Adopts International Standard in Delivery of High-Quality Services to Further Expand Regional Business

Hong Kong, 6 July 2012 — Automated Systems Holdings Limited(‘ASL’ or ‘the Group’) (SEHK stock code: 771), a leading IT services provider in the region, today announced that the Zhuhai Outsourcing Delivery Excellence Center (ODEC) being one of the business units from Automated Systems (HK) Limited (‘Automated’), has received the ISO 9001:2008 Certification from the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) for its management of software development services. The certification demonstrates ASL’s ability to consistently provide high-quality services that meet demand from domestic or multi-national companies in Greater China.
This certification from HKQAA is a testament to the well-structured operations of ODEC in ensuring an effective software development process. The ODEC is an extension of the work from the Engineering Process Group, the Project Management Office and the Quality Office in Hong Kong to devise a set of design frameworks, libraries and guidelines for software development. All applications and software developed by the ODEC will undergo dual checking by experienced ODEC team leaders, then reviewed and tested by the project team of the Hong Kong headquarters. This makes sure the center provides the best customer experience in terms of faster time-to-market, competitive pricing and quality that exceeds customers’ expectations. The ODEC not only operates according to ISO standards, but also manages project processes with reference to other industry’s proven practices, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).

The ODEC, located in Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Zhuhai in mainland China, enjoys transportation convenience.
