(Hong Kong, 8 April 2016) – Automated Systems Holdings Limited (“ASL” or “the Group”) (HKEx stock code: 771), a trustworthy and professional IT services and solutions partner in the region, has announced the expansion of its Offshore Delivery Excellence Center (“ODEC”) along with its relocation to Guangzhou last month, laying a foundation for further expansion in the Mainland market, especially in Southern China.
ODEC has been focusing on developing applications, the provision of maintenance services and industry-specific solutions. ASL has invested HK$10 million for the relocation of ODEC to a 10,000 square feet new Guangzhou office along with an upgrade of its supporting facilities. Guangzhou is the capital of Guangdong Province with favorable geographical location. It is also a national software industry base in Mainland China. The Group can readily recruit IT professionals from the neighboring tertiary educational institutes for its new ODEC and thus build a stronger application development and delivery team which can customize solutions with agility and provide one-stop innovative integrated IT services for its customers and capture business opportunities in Southern China.
ODEC was first established in Zhuhai, Mainland China in 2003. It has supported customers from both private and public sectors within the region, including government departments, financial institutions, educational institutes, transportation giants, retail enterprises and utility organization. Looking ahead, ASL will keep on maintaining its deep technical expertise and strive to improve quality of services. It is expected to further expand the scale of ODEC by the end of 2016 to satisfy the increasing needs for IT systems in the market.
